The Rinse&Repair Service for Belfer Halogen Wall Sconces

After 40 years on the market, some of our original halogen wall sconces are tired and need a little love and care. Things happen - socket assemblies corrode, soccer balls hit light fixtures on the wall, glass breaks.

Our wall sconces have a worldwide following that is unmatched and many of our customers just want to keep their original lighting working safely. Of course, we have upgraded our wall sconce offerings to include LEDs and Dim to Warm options, but some customers are happy with the OG Wall Sconces.

The Rinse&Repair service is designed for you ... to repair and clean the inside of your halogen fixtures.

After you purchase this service, you will receive detailed instructions on removing your fixtures with an electrician, packing them up and shipping via UPS or FedEx to our factory., After receiving them, we will

  1. Replace the wedge socket assembly
  2. Replace the adjustable swivel knuckle (if necessary)
  3. Replace the internal reflector, glass and glass holders
  4. Clean and repoint the inside components
  5. Repackage and send back to you with free return shipping paid (USA only)

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What is powder coating?
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint which is delivered via an evaporating solvent, powder coating is typically applied electrostatically and then cured under heat or with ultraviolet light. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. Powder coating is mainly used for coating of metals, such as our lighting fixtures.
What does the sawtooth diffuser accessory do for the wall sconce?
The Sawtooth Diffuser creates a small sawtooth shadow instead of a hot spot on the wall right above the fixture. Some prefer this, but it’s all a preference thing.
What is an ideal mounting height?
Although every application is unique, we typically suggest between 18” from the ceiling and 6’-6” from the floor.
What makes the Belfer WS6215 Halogen Wedge™ Shaped Wall Sconce a good choice for accent lighting?
The Halogen Wedge™ Shaped Wall Sconce provides indirect uplighting that creates a soft, ambient glow, enhancing architectural details without overpowering the space. Its sleek wedge design adds architectural appeal, making it ideal for accentuating features in various interiors.
How do I install the Halogen Wedge™ Shaped Wall Sconce, and what mounting hardware does it require?
This wall sconce is designed for standard mounting and requires a 4" octagonal mounting box. It includes a round back-plate and is compatible with typical halogen lamps, with installation instructions included for a secure and proper setup.
Can the Halogen Wedge™ Shaped Wall Sconce be used outdoors or in damp locations?
The Belfer WS6215 Halogen Wedge™ Shaped Wall Sconce is rated for damp locations and is made of durable cast aluminum, making it suitable for indoor applications such as hallways, lobbies, and theaters. It may be used undercover outdoors, but is not designed for direct weather exposure.
